ICPE International Conference on Physics Education

Registration open

Registration and Abstract submission are open for the International Conference on Physics Education ICPE 2014, that will take place at the Sheraton Cordoba Hotel & Convention Center, Córdoba, Argentina, on August 18th to 22th, 2014.

The Conference on Physics Education is an international event held every year, under the auspices of Commission C14 of  International Union of Pure & Applied Physics (IUPAP).

The main objective is the exchange of scientific information and views among the members of the international scientific community in the general field of Physics Education.  Following its tradition, ICPE 2014 will consist of invited talks on relevant Physics Education topics, given by prominent representatives of the field, as well as oral and poster contributions in the different areas.

ICPE 2014 is the first conference of the series that takes place in South America. The Conference will be hosted by the Department of Physics of the University of Cordoba (one of the oldest of the American continent) and the Institute of Physics “Enrique Gaviola” (CONICET, Argentina), which together constitute an important physics research center in this region of Argentina.

Important dates:

Abstract Submission Period 1: until May, 15, 2014. For Abstracts submitted during Period 1, the decisions about the acceptance of the contributions for the conference will be announced till May 30. So you will know that your contribution is accepted before the deadline for Early registration.

Abstract Submission Period 2: May 16, 2014 to June 15, 2014. For Abstracts submitted during Period 2, the decisions about the acceptance will be announced till June 30, 2014.

Deadline for early registration and payment at reduced cost: June, 10, 2014

Deadline for registration and payment online: July 10, 2014

Deadline for accommodation booking: August 8, 2014

Conference days: August 18-22, 2014
